I finished Pathfinder Kingmaker. Really good game.

I made a homage to the RP when I had to make a melee mercenary for the Varnhold's Lot DLC (also really good). Monk is a strong melee class, and gnome or halfling makes a good monk, so I made a gnome monk with the "Madman" voice set. Had this little guy running around punching and kicking monsters to death with the funniest combat barks. Anyway I named him Tim, in honor of Goblin Tim. XD

I'll be dammed, Elder Scrolls Online made some new lore for Esroniet!

Long before this came about I always had it in mind that the island was Indian esque, considering it's the 'spice island' seems I was somewhat correct. Silliness of that Guar aside, if the island houses guars native to it that means it's environment must be similar to either Morrowind or northern Black Marsh.

What I find more interesting is that this would suggest that they traded pretty extensively with Tamriel hundreds of years before Uriel Septim ever conquered them. I always just assumed that the Empire's island territories were more or less isolated before then.

Perhaps some if not all the eastern islands had contact and trade with Tamriel before conquest. If anything this probably proves that Esroniet is the closest island to Tamriel.

I imagine Roscrea is a little too far north for that level of contact and the other islands are too far east. Also makes sense that Uriel would establish a major naval field on that island now.

While this little piece of lore could potentially change many things about Esroniet, I don't think we should really take too much into consideration in the rp. At most maybe a reduction of those spices and other exports if they're being isolationist, which is doubtful. I can't see too much in the way of conflict with anything on Tamriel. They might be out fighting the other islands right now for supremacy?

The biggest thing that brings up now is the size of the island. If it's that major of an exporter to Tamriel, then the damn thing might be of moderate size.

Definitely makes what we’re doing with it in the rp feel more justified.

Queue your quote lol
