After Starfield, there was slim chance I'd ever play another Bethesda game again anyway.

I don't care that much tbh. I guess I mostly wrote off Fallout with 4 and 76. Makes sense that "the fall" would mean fall of the government and relocation somewhere else.

I always figured Moldaver was leading a splinter group since she obviously just woke up from cryo (or whatever kept her alive) not long before events of the show and immediately started agitating against Vault Tec and using NCR survivors as followers/ cannon fodder. Since Shady Sands was destroyed that takes out the government and it's plausible that the rest of the society would fracture if there's not a clear successor that wasn't nuked. Like I said up above somewhere, I'm not surprised that they did a "reset." It was probably inevitable with the decision to set the show in California.

The pinkos on reddit aren't happy that the Maxson BoS apparently survived.

And more concerned with character development and production values than lore fidelity.

I’m prepared to be outraged if they fuck with New Vegas too much. But… They were going to reset the games. This is well established pattern. We don’t know that the whole NCR is gone, just Shady Sands. All those other people wouldn’t just disappear, though with no government it would be in fragmented form. Personally I am fine with that. I'm not going to defend the show, especially with how passionate you all are about it. However, I do think you were at least meant to feel something when Lucy looks at the NCR flag, hence Inon Zur music. I do think that I'm not as upset about the developments because I have zero emotional connection to the NCR to begin with.

I'm probably the one here that enjoyed it the most. I'm really not bothered by the dumbass stuff. It was entertaining and had some cool nostalgia.

Does the timeline not support that Nate could be in that cinematic? edit- He is apparently walking it back on X, saying that they discussed that being Nate during the design phase but your idea of Nate is still canon. Whatever. I'm still pissed they made Nora a lawyer. I started writing a fanfiction story about Nate and Nora, with Nora as CIA agent and robotics patent lawyer was her cover. I didn't get very far, was just trying to not hate the character.

If they want that, they can set up a Patreon like every other "creator." Good luck with that. I do support 2 Patreons myself, Mentour Pilot and History Hustle.

About the same. I think Lucy is a good protagonist and has a pretty cool "player character" arc. Maximus' storyline is my least favorite also. The weird cultish stuff is annoying and he just takes odd psychopathic turns without seeming like a true wastelander. The characterization is off.
