So did they just straight up rebuild it from the ground up?

Yes. It's extremely impressive, but it's lacking the roaches, the animation were the player gets up from the ground at the start, Lisa's face in the washroom, and the ending cutscene (cause apparently they don't want to be sued by Reedus's lawyers XD)

Don’t worry, that supernatural shit’s part and partial of living in Missouri. We teach exorcisms in grade school. Right after how to administer narcan to your parents.

Its because of China and how many goods from them are transported via truck companies like my grandad's, Bulldog. The tariff war effected them the most out of anyone in fact, and he's not convinced the payoff will be quick or worth it in the end.

He won't even acknowledge the USMCA lol XD As soon as I brought it up ma was like "Here we go," lol. Wouldn't even let me get in a real word about it but that says more than enough if you ask me.

Not sure who their clients are but I've had containers from Europe sitting in Charleston for weeks because there were no drivers to bring them up.

I don't like tariffs but it's still too early to tell if it will pay off. At least someone is willing to acknowledge the imbalances.

I'm sure it will in the long run, I already didn't expect the conflict here with mexico and canada to be resolved so quickly.

It's gonna ruffle some feathers but thats the point, and bottom line, China can't afford a long term tariff war. Neither can we, but they'll suffer from it more.

And if not and we lose well I'm still glad someone tried to change things instead of just accepting what we're given.

Europeans hate when someone says this, but the reason Europe can afford socialism is largely because American power provides a security that small countries on their own could never manage. The EU was a feeble attempt to paper this over with Pan-Europa philosophy. No doubt it's a two way street and we also profit from an American-European bloc, of course.

I think we can afford much of our socialism even without the US, at least economically. I mean we're still able to pay off our state debt while yours is ever increasing to even more ridiculous levels.

Though I wont deny that our military and general defense are rather pitiful. Government keeps thinking that NATO will come to our aid despite explicit statements from NATO that they wont come to help a non-member country. Another example of how our officials think regarding defense could be seen in the aftermath of the huge forest fires we had this summer. We were woefully under-equipped to deal with it and aid from other EU countries had to be called. And just because other EU countries helped, our officials decided that we don't really need to increase our own capacity of defense against such disasters.

Power corrupts, absolute power... is a whole lot of fun!

Yea, our debt in the grand scheme of things hardly matters when the entire world relies on us economically and militarily, which is the point. Not saying we can ignore it like the democrats believe but in the comparison of our dept to Sweden’s, military might (and size of the countries which contributes to the former) are the obvious differences and reason for said debt.

Granted, China effects the global economy almost as much as we do and if they ever upgrade to a consumer based modern economy instead of a socialist market economy, they will surpass us (ain’t gonna happen) but Europe doesn’t exactly want to be left with China as their economic lead, which is why they were so salty over the tariff war in the first place.

They were afraid.

Course there’s people that think around 2025-2030 that we’ll really start to see the effects of our dept even with defense, like the UK and their navy fleet shrinking ever since the Cold War.

But we’ll see. That’s why I’m glad Trump is fighting globalization.

And most of the current Republicans too, to be honest. They love talking about the debt when they don’t have the power to do anything about it and can point fingers at the Democrats, but the last two years are proof that they don’t really care as much as they pretend.

Globally they do, but in Europe and most western countries, we’re dominant by leaps and bounds thanks to the dollar being the world reserve currency. At least however long that lasts. China has been working to butt into that for years, and countries like Russia and Turkey have been trying to work around it.

Great observation, that is true.

The whole system is built on a bubble. It will keep having "adjustments" and "bursts" while the people who deal only in finance move their non-existent money around and try to insulate themselves from the effects. For the rest of us... buy guns. Lots of them.

Well again, you can do a lot when you don't have to pay for your defense. The US not only bankrolls a lot of the world's defense, we also bankroll scientific and medical advancement for everybody. Not saying it's not a good deal for our own people, too, but I don't think it's going to last forever. The Middle East and Afghanistan show clearly that our military can't handle even a median crisis. Which isn't a bad thing in my book. We can defend North America, that should be all we really concern ourselves with.

Here’s a fun fact, we’ve got one of the longest lasting fiat currencies ever. Almost fifty years, even though most don’t survive more than thirty. The dollar is fucked, and it’s amazing that it has been propped up as long as it has. So yeah, lol, I’m all about buying and owning things that are tangible. Guns, land, precious metals. Screw relying on dollars. We’ll be wiping our asses with them some day.

Another reason to be glad our country is making headway on cutting down reliance on foreign resources.

That’s the main reason Gaddafi was really killed, which we know thanks to Hillary’s emails XD

I really don’t know how she was able to run at all aside from corruption of course.

I’ll share with the others, but you better stay north of that border. >:( My house is painted white, and we learned in 1814 how you snow monkies get when you see Americans living in white houses.
