People are freaking out about it on the Twitter.

Ah.

Well it’s Twitter, which is a stone toss away from Tumblr. If I had to pick I’d pick third, but honestly Borderlands could’ve been made into a full fledged rpg and I’d have loved it. I’ll live..

This is starting to sound like a Cyberpunk RPG version of Saints Row 2 lol which would be awesome. This could be the next big sci-fi rpg series to replace the hole that mass effect left me.

I am pumped voiced protagonist or not. Regardless of the voice I think I’m gonna make a Cyberpunk Ulysses lookin dude.

Though that’ll be hard if he sounds like Nate from Fallout 4.... ugh.

*meeting at Bethesda headquarters*

“Fans of Fallout are disappointed with our recent games and claim the New Vegas was far superior to 3&4”

”Oh I know! Let’s look at what New Vegas did and try to replicate it!”

*gunshots”

“That’s a negative ghost rider”

”How about we completely strip everything that people enjoyed about fallout out, and replace it with a rust/dayz clone?”

”Bingo! That’s it boys we figured it out!”

I only ever play one character anyway, two at most even for Fallout and Skyrim

Huh. I’d never really thought about it, but I really don’t have a main character. I’ve played a bunch of different ones in Skyrim, and a handful in New Vegas. I would say my characters in New Vegas do tend to be pretty similar though, and I have a main archetype in those games for sure. Older gunslinger dude

Yea at most I make a few small changes here or there but otherwise they’re the same. Fallout New Vegas is the mulatto grizzled gunslinger. Fallout 3, same except younger. Fallout 4, who cares.

I play a bunch of different characters to at the start of the game so I experience all sides and then I fall into a “main” so to speak. But with Fallout 4, you know uhhh every character ended up pretty much the same because yeah lol

My standard for Fallout 3 is a combat armor wearing, assault rifle using semi naive/semi hardass kid that does his best to be a decent human being, but slips up sometimes.?New Vegas is your standard Man with No Name/Fust full of dollars fuckin gunslingin bounty hunter NCR cowboy lmao. Skyrim is either a Stormcloak Nord or a patriotic Imperial, both sword and board. Fallout 4 is BoS all the way.

Lol honestly I’m an asshole in every fallout game. Not straight up evil though, but definitely renegade.

I let that sheriff dude in Megaton die because I wanted his coat XD luckily on PC I don’t gotta do that... but I do anyway. Then I kill that Irish douche at the bar so I can run the town myself. In my roleplay anyway.

More info about the player character in Cyberpunk: “You’ll be able to choose V’s gender, appearance, class, and historical background. Any of those things can influence the “shape of the game,” CDP wrote.”

It seems like to me it’s a mix of the Witcher and a typical rpg, with regards to the player character.

I do that too. XD Not for the coat, though. I just think it makes for good storytelling to have that be the Lone Wanderer’s first experience of murder in the Wasteland. I like to RP that it teaches him how untrustworthy people can be out here, and to never let his guard down.

My character did it because if he lost his dad, so should the kid XD

Just kidding. Wanted the coat and I stuck with it because it felt fitting.

Plus that dude gave me lip at the door so fuck him and that lame ass hat.

It varies for me between games. It's helps me develop very different images of each protagonist in my head.

In FO1, he was an extremely average Joe Vault Dweller who got more desperate and brutal as the story progressed until he was no longer recognizable by the end.

In FO2, he was a tribal who didn't know shit about the world outside his tribe and basically bumbled from one insane situation to the next, did drugs, accidentally became a porn star, earned mob bosses' trust before banging their daughters, and ultimately saved the world through sheer unkillability. XD Tribal Archer.

In FO3 my guy was basically the same as Centurion's. Naive kid with a good heart.

New Vegas has my most gray main character. Because he does a lot of good and a lot of bad. Definitely an asshole. lol. He does grow a lot by the end, though. Especially throughout the DLCs.

Fallout 4. Goodie two shoes until he discovered Shawn. Then disillusioned and angry. Then a reluctant raider warlord. Then a full on conquering Overboss of the Commonwealth. Easily the most evil of my main characters.

BTW Todd confirmed that you can have private servers with your own rules, so you can avoid griefing all togther if you just want to play with your friends in Fallout 76. He said there's going to be a single player mode, but it wont be coming till post launch .

Oh and if you play regular, there's 24 people per server. 12 on 12 deathmatch mode too. Game is balanced for four people parties, PVE a little more focused then PVP.

You can eat cats too :vaultboy:

I’ll have to see what the story and quest situation looks like. If it’s a literally just fetch quests, and radiant quests, et Cetera. I’m sorry, but I gotta vote with my wallet.

I’ll keep looking into it as it’s coming out, and I’ll try out the beta.

Besides, halo infinite is coming to PC. With any luck, they’ll actually make halo fun again. And we could play that together.

Cyberpunk is also supposed to have some sort of multiplayer aspect. Hope it something like what they had in saints row. Co-op and not something like matchmaking.
