He was a whiny bitchboi that took it in the ass, and inherited his father's army and wartactics. He was raised with a god complex and was a mommy's boi, and as a narcissistic goon with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove, AND he can't handle his alcohol.

Alexander the Great's legend is one of the biggest lies in history. Credit of his Empire should go to his father. Hell it shouldn't even be considered great since it died right after he did.

Troy would’ve been better if they went full Iliad with it and included the gods.

And Diomedes. How are you gonna leave out Homer’s best character?

Yeah but fucking Sean Bean was Odysseus XD How can there be any better thing?!

How about a sequel starring Sean Bean that’s based on the Odyssey? That shit should’ve been priority 1 after making Troy.

That would have been hard to do with all the mythological elements removed from Troy. And it was clear the movie was selling itself on sex and huge battles, which the Odyssey lacks.

Though the Odyssey wouldn’t work very well without the mythological elements. And Troy was directed by one of the infamous D’s from Game of Thrones. Seeing as how they also stripped the mythology from that series, I get the impression that he isn’t very interested in that sort of thing.

Vikind XD

But yeah, removing the Proxy War between the God's sucked ass. The movie was already spitting on historical authenticity (Hoplites in the Bronze Age pffft) why'd they remove the coolest part?
