I wouldn't care except she literally has no idea how good or bad I am based on my gear, though me having the Nameless King outfit should've been a clue. I dont think most people throw away stuff from tough bosses even if it's useless so I'd assume it was theirs personally. Unless she thought I was a hacker or something, who knows. I think hacker is the most likely reason. Can't really trust those people. I remember when I invaded some player and there was this other invading spirit that had done some weird hack. He had it so it did an attack that damaged everyone, but so little and so fast that it didn't kill you but instead broke all your gear and caused the game to crash. I don’t think most people do what you did to swap your other char’s really good stuff over to your new one. And people don’t usually start looking very good until after the Catacombs. Never know. The Souls community is definitely weird enough to troll in this way. He can make hundreds of illusions that can actually kill you. The Ornstein and Smough fight is heavily implied to just be illusions as well. Fuck, he managed to retain the illusion of sunlight on the entirity of Anor Londo (and the rest of the world) with her/his magic alone. Another example that's been really common this month in Bloodborne (because it's free for PS+ members until April and lots of new fans are jumping in) is people joining new players to help with the early game bosses, and then standing back and letting the boss kill the new player without lifting a finger. It's a dick move because bosses become a lot tougher the more people you add, so new players don't stand a chance if this happens. You get nothing out of it.
