  Reveal hidden contents

If the lore I've read on the Pthumerians is accurate, Yharnam is one of the saddest bosses/npcs in the game.

Use spoilers for later game stuff like that.

Shit Im sorry, I thought it was vague enough not to be spoilers.

The hidden passage leads to Old Yharnam. A really cool but stressful optional area. There’s a lamp down there too.

Not sure what you mean by secret treasure, though.

"secret", wasnt really hard to find but it was under a tomb you had to use a lever on.

Which one?

The one with the gun is very close to you. You can befriend him instead of killing him, though, if you want.

Laurence and Ludwig are in the DLC.

Badass shooter that made Czar and friends cry sounds like a good friend to have XD How do I do that?

Also, @BigBossBalrog youre not gonna stop asking me that till I suck Fromsoft's balls are you? XD Yes, I like the game.

Also, builds... So far I've been leveling up the way I did in DS3, emphasis on health mainly, and endurance secondary. Im liking the axe for now so I'm good on a main weapon unless you have suggestions for me, but what about guns? Should I throw in some points to be able to use repeater pistol for instance?

I wouldn't bother with anything more then a hunter's pistol for your ranged option. Don't go bloodtinge for your first build.

Try the Kirkhammer out if you're going strength, its fun to use but not the greatest. There are some really good fun weapons in the dlc though.

You'll reach a part were you can climb up a ladder that leads up his tower. Ignore it. Later on, when you beat a bonus boss it'll open up a way that lets you approach from behind, and he'll be friendly ;)

It’s honestly pretty tricky. It’s basically a hidden side quest. Most important part is pretty obvious. Don’t climb up there and kill him. Just learn to evade his Gatling gunfire if you’re gonna hang around the area.

Here’s the step by step.

What you’ve gotta do is kill the Cathedral boss, Vicar Amelia. And activate the skull on the pedestal behind her. It’ll trigger a world event.

Once that is over, you’ve gotta get “killed” by one of the new enemies that appears after the event. Specifically, the creepy tall guys with bags over their shoulders. There is now one hiding around he corner of the Cathedral lamp area with all the friendliest. He will drag you to a prison cell.

Leave the cell (optional, but you can befriend and save an NPC in this area if you wear church clothes while speaking to her) and meet the boss of this area. You don’t have to kill him, and you probably won’t. You’ve just gotta encounter him.

Now go back to Old Yharnam. The guy will no longer shoot at you, but if he sees you kill any of the beasts in the area, he’ll start shooting again. So the trick is to open all the doors during your first visit while he’s hostile so you can avoid the enemies. Or just run by them.

Now you can climb the ladder and he’ll invite you to join the Powder Keg Hunters for all the trouble. Plus he’s got some interesting dialogue.

No way, dude. Befriending him is WAAAAAY more work than killing him. It actually takes effort. Killing him is just a slightly tougher than average hunter fight.

Holy shit I'm seeing that... Still, I want the secret dialogue and the powder keg dudes are american right? Sold.
