TheCzarsHussar
But no, Kos and Rape Horse. Yall didn't think I'd do a bl4 run and not do all bosses? This ain't ds2

This ain't ds2 No, I just assumed you would look forward to those two, since they’re actually really good fights. Whereas Rom is tedious and Micolash is obnoxiously annoying and unfun. I always dread getting to them. *

TheCzarsHussar
They're great fights, but I am a little noodle that would get one shot by every attack. Phase 2 Ludwig is really fucking fast with his swings, and Orphan...is Orphan I'm not using any AI exploit cheese either.
TheCzarsHussar
I'm so salty, Rom was a few hits from death but caught me with their hissy fit. It's a pure rng fight, and I'm getting awful rng
TheCzarsHussar
My god I finally did it, took me like six tries to beat ROM of all things
The Good Doctor
Rom is a test of patience, not luck. Even with the worst rng, you’ll never lose if you’re willing to draw it out. Which is why I hate that fight. *

Even with the worst rng, you’ll never lose if you’re willing to draw it out. Which is why I hate that fight. Being passive in bloodborne is cursed. I ended up winning by beat pellet fisting in phase 1 after killing all the spiders, got them to half health. Killed all the phase 2 spiders, got them down to little over a third and launched molotovs like like were mortars unlocked until it died
TheCzarsHussar
It took me two years to learn, but I finally found out the little spiders only attack you when they're moving towards you. Helped me out a ton
TheCzarsHussar
Micolash got slapped in one go. I'm nearing the time when I have to go beyond gud, I will soon have to Git Perfect
TheCzarsHussar
Winter Lantarn farming at bl4 is so infuriating, I'm popping in the chalice dungeons to get some echoes for sedatives
BigBossBalrog
What I found interesting about Rom is he's kinda of a remake of the first Demon's Souls boss; Phalanx. A cowardly, almost stationary...thing, that throws minions at you, and is weak without them. Some people call it lazy, but I love how FROM recycles and "remakes" old ideas and puts new spins on them. In this case though, I don't think it was much of an improvement At least Rom has crazy spectacle.

Also unlike phalanx, Rom pitches hissy fits that one shots you
TheCzarsHussar
I'm in the final stretch, with no more base game bosses. The last one, ebrietas really busted my balls. It took me like seven attempts, of course each death was from her charge shitbox. That I might add is actually bugged to be lingering, which is why it's so bad. TheCzarsHussar
I'll add, I'm saving Gerhman and Moon Presence for last, so technically two left base game

TheCzarsHussar
I'm making good progress on Ludwig, it's taking a few attempts but I got him to second phase and was going real well until he did his instant attack that requires frame perfect dodges. TheCzarsHussar
I'm livid, I was doing flawless and got to phase 2, got past the first stagger and when he did the huge aoe slam, I got hit by a shitbox ;-; YouTube video uploading so yall can see my frustration
TheCzarsHussar
Hey I did it! Took me about twenty tries but he's dead, phase 2 is the scariest part but I had just enough hp from stacked runes to survive a single hit
TheCzarsHussar
Oh god I diiiiiid it, Lady Maria was ass clinchingly difficult. Far more then Ludwig at bl4. Even though it took me just slightly less tries (I think it was my fifteenth or sixteenth attempt when I beat her) then Ludwig, that fight got me far saltier. TheCzarsHussar
I'm taking a break from orphan, I don't want to be salty and was starting to get annoyed, and when I get annoyed I play far worse. I'll give him another go either later tonight or tomorrow.
TheCzarsHussar
I went from disliking the Skeptical Man npc, to him being one of my favorite bloodborne characters just for the obscurity of his character. That man could stare into the many many eyes of a winter lantern, and cause THEM to build frenzy.
