After almost two years, I got back into Daggerfall. I didn't want to roll with my cheesy high elf spellsword so I made a new character. Straight up martial class Breton, very strong fighting focus with major in restoration and alteration for heals and buffs.

I was dumbfounded when everything (but imps who usually one shot me XD) was obliterated by my guy, even skeletons who make Oblivion bone boys look like Nordic losers.

Okay so remember how I started playing Morrowind again with a (nearly) pure martial build Nord?

Weeeeeell, I decided I wanted to try something completely new. I restarted as an Altmer "Paladin of Julianos." Heavy armor, shield, long blade (I mostly didn't go blunt because my first 'complete' playthrough used them. But I can justify Knights Mentors using long blades instead of classical maces), restoration and destruction.

I went full on glass canon mage setup, with Apprentice sign. My Altmer can get obliterated by the right type of damage, but that's if they can make it through my substantial Magicka pool

I'm definitely roleplaying as "I'm not the Nerevarine, it's a clever employ. I merely satisfy the vagueness"

I think the big one that come to mind that people complain about is the movie is too saturated, leaked pictures behind the scenes show these beautiful vibrant uniforms. But the movie has this full grey filter over everything.

From what I heard, history nerds are the most critical of that Napoleon film. What makes it hilarious is Ridley Scott is doing the one thing you never do when being criticized; he freaked out

Which is a shame, because he already made an AMAZING Napoleonic era film, his first movie too.

I've only played Black Flag, but I love that game 

I'm running a Nord, an old veteran of the War of Bend'r-mahk. Just a straight up warrior, using polearms and axes as major skills. Alongside heavy armor, athletics and acrobatics. He'd use enchanted items and scrolls in a heartbeat but aside from knowing a minor heal for emergencies, he has no magic.

It'll be fun roleplaying a classic Nord adventurer, I knew I'd love this character the moment I one shot an ancestor ghost as I robbed this ancestral tomb
