  1. With what Disney has done to Star Wars I’ve stopped being super critical of everything and just getting what enjoyment I can out of the episodes. And damn, I loved every second of Anakin in this episode
  2. One thing I like about the weapons is they actually feel like slightly futuristic realistic firearms. Like I’m currently running the Beowulf and it’s a rifle that uses the magazine feeding system if the P90. But you can also find “old earth weapons” aka 1911, AK-47, and AS VAL’s which is pretty cool
  3. I took a bunch of screenshots of all the cool armors, spacesuits, and clothes. I’ll upload those later. I’m currently cheating to create a massive battle cruiser and when I finalize the design on that I’ll take some screenshots and stuff
  4. Joined the Freestar rangers today. Almost finished with the quest line but it’s pretty fun. It’s very much a spaghetti space western quest line and it’s been pretty engaging and fun
  5. New Vegas and F4 style? No. It had more of a moral alignment type option to go about the final missions
  6. I haven’t delved into the factions yet. I’ve seen them from a distance but that’s it so far. I speed blasted the story on the first playthrough to avoid spoilers, now I’m gonna hit the side content
  7. That’s fair. I wasn’t really vibing with the design of the ships and armor and stuff until I got into the game and I actually enjoy the game for the game so the design elements are growing on me. Especially the look of a Deimos Gladius (ship). and I get were y’all are coming from because I have zero interest in bg3 even I’ve heard nothing but good shit about it. I just don’t like the gameplay and I can’t really sit through a game when playing it is a drag. Kinda why I take 2 years breaks from ESO after playing for like a week, or why I occasionally like year or so will jump back into Fallout 1&2 but I don’t continually go back to them. I do think however, that if you have the opportunity (like a friends loans you a disk version, or gamepass etc) to give Starfield a try, do it. I was skeptical and jaded going in, but I’m on my second (1st true) playthrough now and I’m having a blast
  8. There’s not a sense of urgency until the end of the story. There’s no grave existential threat to beat. It’s a very personal journey with choices and consequences. And contrary to Balrog’s uninformed spoiler post the other day, it’s not a “chosen one” story. It’s very much a hero’s journey, however it is about a self-made “hero” instead of fate. I don’t know how to go into it more without major spoilers. And man, playing it without it being spoiled really left an impacted. I doubt it would be as awe inspiring if I knew what was going to happen prior
  9. Finished Starfield MQ and man… that was good. I’m not disappointed. It was mind bending. You can really tell a lot of time and care was put into it
  10. The most spoiler free I can make this about the main story is it goes: Newb lulz Fetch quest’s *actually interesting tho* Fus ro dah (but not in a bad way) Corporate espionage Well this just got interesting Fetch Quest 2.0 Emotions and interest increase The path to revenge? Religion and shit Revelations And that’s as far as I’ve gotten so far
  11. The main quest hasn’t disappointed yet. It’s got some wild twists tho. I haven’t finished it yet but I think I’m getting there
  12. and it’s definitely better than F4’s system: Yes Maybe (Yes) Sarcasm (Yes) No (Yes)
  13. It feels and plays like a blend between their dialogue in F3 and Obsidians in FNV. FNV dialogue is still better, but it’s a substantial improvement for bethesda
  14. From what I’ve run into so far there’s you skill/background checks, you goody goody answer, your grizzled asshole answer and your bad answer
  15. Easily. Off the top of my head character, Akila City native from the stretch turned bounty hunter to make ends meet. Taking odd jobs here and there before he gets offered a place in the Freestar Rangers. Or grew up on Neon stealing to eat and eventually got hired by a corpo to smuggle some Aurora to New Atlantis before the job went wrong.
  16. But also if sales are down not considering gamepass, then Bethesda did it to themselves honestly. I think Starfield will help them regain a bit of that rpg giant reputation tho because it is really good and needs to be the baseline standard of quality from them from here on out
  17. The story keeps getting better and better. I’m really impressed. I don’t think I’m anywhere near the end yet. I’m probably in act II maybe but damn this is crazy
  18. I’ve been to all the major cities now and they all have their own vibes and it’s really interesting. I can’t wait for my next playthrough we’re I neglect the main quest and just do side stuff
  19. Man. Even just sticking to the main quest has been enjoyable. I purchased a second ship and made it a lightweight dogfighter and the story just got its first “interesting” turn
