  1. It was really weird talking to Ulfric about being a Trident Cruise Ship captain and a felon and then immediately after talking to Nick Valentine about embezzling and how his legal team would get him out Scott free
  2. One of the characters you incounter in the sysdef/crimson fleet questline is voice by the same voice actor as HIGH KING ULFRIC STORMCLOAK, THE KING IN THE NORTH! and it’s a bit disconcerting lol
  3. I’ll have to get back to you in that one chief. I haven’t been paying attention to that one. I’ve mostly been taking in the quest lines, character arcs and gameplay mechanics
  4. That’s fucking dope. When I get around to playing cyberpunk again that will really help out
  5. My Bethesda games list: 1. Morrowind (Obviously, I don’t think I need to explain this one). 2.Fallout New Vegas (Included because it’s part of the family of games and the best Fallout) 3. Skyrim (The one that started it all for me. Had the most impact on me and deserves a top spot) 4. Starfield (Almost put it in the 3 spot. Genuinely a fun game with fun factions and interesting lore. Beth couldn’t have had a stronger start for a new IP) 5. Fallout 3 6. Fallout 4 7. Oblivion * not included: Fallout 1, 2, Tactics, because I will be far to biased against them for the age and isometric gameplay. Arena and Daggerfall because I have not played them. ESO, F76, because they aren’t traditional Bethesda formula rpgs so they don’t deserve a spot on the list.
  6. I’m interested to see cyberpunk 2.0 and phantom liberty, but Cyberpunk is not enough to pull me away from Starfield right now
  7. Finished UC Vanguard questline. Pretty good, Bethesda has gotten way better at making factions genuinely interesting and fun. They even include twist and shit. It pretty cool. I’m not going in detail much in this one because it’s very lore heavy and very spoiler heavy for said lore if I go to much into it. Genuinely had a good time with it tho. Next up is UC Sysdef/Crimson Fleet and then Riyujin corporation.
  8. Passed the promotion board. So I went from SGT Jacob Phillips to SGT (P) Jacob Phillips, and some time next year probably I’ll be SSG Jacob Phillips. SGT = Sergeant, (P)= (Promotable), and SSG= Staff Sergeant
  9. Armors are the same way. It’s like blended system from their previous game including 76, but at the very least I’m not having to deal with a lvl 4 maelstrom rifle and lvl 16 maelstrom rifle
  10. So there’s your standard “leveled list” weapon roster like elder scrolls and fallout (i.e. lvl1-6= hunting rifle and lvl 20-50= combat rifle) there’s also “legendary” armors and weapons like in fallout. But these are in teirs of purple and blue etc based on how many legendary effects it has. So a regular combat knife in grey, and combat knife with one legendary effect is blue, two is green, three is gold etc and then the final bit is Bethesda removed the receiver upgrades from fallout 4’s modification table so I can’t pick up a stock urban eagle pistol and upgrade the receiver to advanced and have the most powerful version anymore. In order to get the more powerful version you play the loot lottery or by them. It’s goes: standard calibrated refined advanced
  11. Phil Spencer CEO of Microsoft said that TES 6 was 5+ years away during the Sony court case over Activision
  12. In other news, I’m nearing 100 hours in Starfield and I’m working on the uc vanguard quest line right now. After that I’ll do riujin industry questline. Once those to are done and I have over 100 hours I’ll give you guys my 100 hour thoughts and such
  13. Yeah I don’t believe that badly pixelated, non matched timeline at all. Plus it directly contradicts what they were testifying to in court
  14. They didn’t call it a spacesim tho. It’s always been advertised as a Beth space exploration rpg
  15. Another complaint that I see a lot is that that it’s not like no man sky or elite dangerous where you can literally fly between plants and fly into the atmosphere and stuff, and if that’s what people were expecting than they were being unrealistic and deserve to be disappointed
  16. It’s not even the big review platforms. It’s mainly YouTubers that I’m seeing, some of them I’m actually subscribed to because I enjoy there content and they definitely aren’t giving the game a fair shake
  17. Man, the amount of mid ass “reviews” of Starfield I’m seeing are a real bummer. People apparently aren’t a fan of the game because the main quest isn’t urgent and encourages you to not focus on it. I’ve even seen people saying that F4 is better which is patently fucking false. I’m nearing my first 100 hours mark in Starfield and I’m beyond satisfied. Even if after a while I don’t feel as tho the game is a top 5 game for me, I definitely got my $70 worth. It’s got stuff for everyone, it’s got space navy quests, it’s got bounty hunter quests, it’s got space cowboy quests, it’s got espionage, it’s got piracy, it’s got exploration, it’s got smuggling quests, it is the most well rounded Bethesda game in terms of content they’ve ever released. The game doesn’t plop you down with the threat of an Oblivion invasion, Dragon apocalypse, or kidnapped son and that’s perfect, it has you do a quest and then says “the gates are open, have fun” and there’s plenty of fun to be had. and y’all know me, I wouldn’t be saying any of this if I didn’t truly believe it. I don’t have some complaints about the game that I haven’t fully formulated in by brain yet, but once those solidify I’ll be expressing them here. But I would highly encourage y’all to immediately discount any of these this mid-ass reviews saying Starfield is garbage, because they are patently wrong. For the first time in a long time I actually look forward to the time when I can play video games and all I want to do is play Starfield. I thought about another game since it came out. The only thing holding this game back right now is Bethesda waiting until next year to release the modding tools. And even then, Starfield doesn’t need mods to be fun, which is already a step about Fallout 4.
