I have a lot of mixed feelings about the Malenia fight, now that I’ve done it on two playthroughs and couldn’t do it with the builds I used for the majority of the game. I feel cheap for having to use my summons even though as Czar said, end game everything’s resistant to holy damage, making certain weapons pretty much essential like the blasphemous blade.

Though even that alone ain’t enough for her, tou imo need to use the katana blood swords or another bleed source, frost, or both. But while those give you the best results, it’s not gonna really carry you. Unless you’re pretty overleveled. 
 

She’s not just tough, she breaks the established rules of the game with how she functions. I’ll post some videos to what I mean and see what y’all think. And then I’ll ask my question.

also fuck malenia fight is bullshit lol, she can animation cancel.... no other boss can and you certainly cant, so i used my mimic tear and stun locked her with blasphemous blade lol no regrets

@the rest im leaving it on ng+1 for the dlc but yea i also plan on starting a new game, actually i already have one ready to go because i was playing it with a gf lol.

So I'll just take that playthrough more seriously when done with this one.

Decided to go with the gargoyle wax blade thing that can have its art of war changed and went with fire so both are augmented with fire grant me strength. 

Getting ready for the dlc for elden ring on my new game plus mode and just killed malenia the bullshitter of miquella again lol, fucking bitch.

Anyway, whats the best sword to power stance with Blasphemous Blade, I think @TheCzarsHussar said the black gargoyle blade worked well with it which makes sense, but also saw people say you could pair it with Ordovis. Thoughts?

Ima play it  it’s pretty badass lol and surprisingly brutal, and good visuals. Combat was surprisingly versatile and fleshed out.
