  1. I’m in the mood for cowboy should to now that I finished watching godless with Celan That finale man. Fucking badass.
  2. Boiiiiiiiiii Won’t lie, I am a bit worried about how this will turn out. I hope they don’t get greedy and ruin it with micro transactions and shit. I haven’t played enough of Grandtheft auto five to confirm, but my boy claims that’s exactly what happened with that. So, we’ll see. Y’all probably play more than I did, I stopped just before the heists came. So y’all could tell me.
  3. After all lol who cares about Orcs And in the grand scheme of things Mannimarco and his cult mattered very little.
  4. I’d say that it’s not that they’re not as obvious, but that it’s simply not as significant enough for me to consider it a part of the negative pattern mentioned as a result of the actions of the hero, which was my biggest gripe with the theory. As far as Cyrodiil goes, for example, the heroes actions lead to the destruction of the amulet of kings, death of the last Septim and the destruction of a stone to a tower. Even though of course the alternative is being conquered by a daedric lord, it’s still a consequence of your actions which sent Cyrodiil spiraling into chaos. That and what happens with Morrowind are far more significant negatives than any negative that results from the actions of the hero of Daggerfall. In my opinion.
  5. That’s true, though that also meant lots of fighting, lots of instability which is why to me it was a fair trade even if it meant better control by the Empire.
  6. Indeed. Which ain’t to say Celan is wrong or anything, I could guess there’d be some negative effects as a result of the Dragonborn’s actions but it’s not like it has to be or that the patterns always gonna be a negative outcome. The story from the third era carrying on to the fourth was always to be a downward slope anyway because it was told from the POV of an Empire centered culture. A dying Empire. Then moving into the fourth era we for the first time get to strike against the Empire and finally push away from that perspective which is huge.
  7. But yes, heroes bring about great change with their actions in the setting. Think Ayrenn has a quote about that. Some good, some bad. That’s the nature of a prisoner, they’re a wild card.
  8. In their case I’d argue it was a good thing. Not that the Empire was why they finally had peace, but that it was a fair trade. Its not on par with a Nord bringing back an elven god, or the destruction of Morrowind for instance. High Rock after the events of Daggerfall came on top, even mythically if you believe Talos was a Breton.
  9. It defaults to that size indeed, but I think it looks fine as is personally. Especially on mobile since you can zoom in a bit more easily.
  10. Not sure if I can, might default to that size not sure. Maybe coding could fix it if not which I'd have to look into later.
  11. Indeed, I'm just wary atm because my time's split as it is with work and just the one rp lol. I want to make sure I won't have a hard time managing between two rps. Don't want to feel like I'm obligated to bounce back between two rps for giving one more attention than the other, etc. Partially why I decided to come up with the character I did. More in the background waiting for certain events to unfold and take advantage of them reluctantly.
  12. Its a bit dark but whatever, I like it, much better.
  13. I don't know man, I gotta work up the motivation to. Not as into Fallout as I am with Elderscrolls to jump into a story with a whole new setting. It's a lot simpler to do so with the Elderscrolls to me because so much of the history and culture, etc is written out and I'm very familiar with the setting. I don't have to worry about world building which has never been my thing. With this it's gonna take more work for me. And honestly aside from the posts I'm currently working on with the TES rp I don't plan to jump in on a post until at least most of the TES chapter three posts are safe and sound right here. Plan on reading what y'all have done first before I actually start posting myself.
  14. Someone post a comment real quick so I can see it in color.
  15. Just put it up, looks raw Witch Thanks dude.
  16. I'm the same way. I have some sketches hanging on my wall that I kept from highschool and never finished, because my teacher kept telling me I had to color them and I didn't want to. So I took the D for them and kept them. Always felt that ruined them. But in your case I actually think the color added helped it a lot because it looks like it was meant to be cartoony.
  17. I think we do more often than not, but we’ve discussed those topics already so all there is is stuff like this that has no real definite answer.
  18. There’s room for both interpretations really so I’ll have to simply agree to disagree.
  19. I’d have my world rocked too prophesy or not if the messiah came to my doorstep. Perhaps he meant for them to act as far as stopping the Thalmor goes to prevent them from killing off in his mind the one group that could find the drsgonborn and lead him to the correct path, which in fact is exactly what happened. They still had enough to believe it wasn’t the case. Specifically this was a cult of Talos, people that would’ve studied bloodlines to him and realize all the Emperors weren’t related. I just don’t buy Esbern buying that line when he’s pretty intelligible when it comes to dragon lore. Someone trying to save the world and studying this prophesy.
  20. It’s in the very first book you pick up in Skyrim that scholars are aware of the heredity connection not being true On the Dragonborn or whatever. Esbern and the others very well may have searched in High Rock and definitely Skyrim but nothing turned up, not before the Thalmor hunted them down almost to the last and they no longer could search. Perhaps he thought they were the only ones knowledgeable enough to find one and didn’t expect one to just randomly pop up in his face lol. Would easily explain his surprise.
  21. I also feel like if they really believe that the Dragon born were all related, that Delphene would’ve been like oh shit, you are Dragon born! But how the fuck is that possible?
  22. In fact, now that I think about it, why would the blades go on to exist after Martin’s death? If you remember, Delphene actually states that they were looking for a Dragon born. That has to be the reason why they kept going after that point. After they failed. Otherwise, why not just be re-absorbed into the Legion. So they knew that there was at least a possibility of dragonborn existing even with Martins death. Some did at least.
