The main argument I'm seeing is that people keep screaming that Yasuke wasn't actually a Samurai XD

There's alot of misinformation going on. Alot of people don't seem to understand Samurai was a class; not a rank. A woman and child born into the class was a Samurai. They keep saying Yasuke wasn't a Samurai, but a retainer...despite the fact a retainer is pretty much the definition of a Samurai XD (A warrior in the military elite serving a daimyo). During the Sengoku period (which was over a hundred years of constant civil war) there was a ton of social mobility for soldiers; peasent warriors who showed good service were inducted into the class twenty four seven.

Yasuke was rescued from slavery by one of the most powerful Daimyo's of the period; giving a stipend, a sword, and a Samurai-role (carrying his sword). He wasn't a Lord, but he was a Samurai.

    The Internet is like

Welp. Holy shit. New Total War game is going to be STAR WARS. @Centurion @TheCzarsHussar

It sounds crazy, but three different leakers are corroborating the story.  It took me awhile to imagine it properly, but I think it could work if they stick to the Clone Wars Era: which had the massive armies, infantry clashes, and district enough and detailed factions.

I would have said Star Wars would be the least mechanically good Total War game, but then I remembered that the standard tactic in Star Wars is mass infantry assaults. Yep the blocky units will do fine XD

Besides that; there seems to be a huge focus on pre-Erd Tree Crucible culture going on. Which is awesome, since it was one of the least explored areas in the base game.

I'll be a happy man if we can use those gnarled Crucible Knight weapons embedded into the roundtable. I'm very curious to see what their pre-Erdtree armor also looked like. Since what we see in game is from the era of Godfrey once he accepted lordship

While I won't bore anyone with aviation trivia, I know at least some of you are interested in space.

I was actually looking forward to watching the launch of the Lockheed/ Boeing Starliner crewed mission last week. Much delayed and much ballyhooed, much needed after all of Boeing's bad press lately, and it all went down like a wet fart again. Meanwhile SpaceX had not one but two successful launches last week, in the process breaking the record for successful launches from the shuttle platform, and all without breaking a sweat. It must really grind the gears of Elon Musk haters.

NASA spent twice as much on ULA (Lockheed) and Boeing, expected more from these two venerable companies, and now "they are growing concerned."  You think, boys?

I'm going to try to go down to Canaveral in 3Q/4Q for the Polaris Dawn launch.

SpaceX also revealed their new exploration suit. Pretty slick.

It's so thin though, that skinny lil suit won't offer much protection XD

*Been watching some Silent Horror movies*

*Starting thinking to myself: "Why can't Disney just make movies like this-"

I gotta stop myself before I turn into the ultimate Contrarian XD

But ya'll should give them a try. They're great movies for Halloween parties!

Die Nibelungen Siegfried and Kriemhild's Rache remain my favorite silent movies. XD

I cannot recommend them enough to anyone

I even liked Operation Anchorage, and Point Lookout had great atmosphere and spy stuff. We're not talking FNV quality stories but a lot of fun.

But I gotta disagree with you on the supermutants. One of the best memories I have of FO3 is throwing a nuka grenade into a bunch of supermutants in a hospital and seeing one of them shoot up to the ceiling. XD

Oh hell super mutants in 3 are fun to fight, it's just their existence on the east coast that's contrived XD

The Pitt would be perfect as the East Coast’s dark and twisted foil to Shady Sands. An independent town that grows into an industrial nation, but on the back of raiding and slavery instead of cooperation and agriculture.

Honestly if Fallout 3 took place in The Pitt, with the same map size as DC, I'd be so fucking down with that.

In an alternate universe, the Capital Wasteland was the dlc, with two competing factions of US army remnants.

If were comparing I think Fallout 3 is elevated by really strong art direction, quest design, and the Fallout 1-esque horror elements. Yeah it's writing aint good, but it's better then 4 in that regard XD

Fallout 3 has a very solid foundation. Me and Doc have talked to no ends about how it could be fixed. No brotherhood, no Enclave, much much sooner in the timeline, maybe a decade after the bombs, no super mutants.

Fuck, Pitt is strongly on New Vegas levels of quality. Stick everyone involved with that as project leads and you'd have a damn good Fallout 3 that fits perfectly with the old ones.

There are people on the Fallout subreddit theorizing that the Elder in the TV series is secretly Caesar in disguise, pretending to be BoS so he can use their resources to take over the wasteland. Also that the Prydwen we see is not actually sent by Maxson, but is instead a second, identical, airship that "the Elder" built in secret to fool his followers into thinking he had support from the Commonwealth. XD

    What

I also think what happened ended up being a way lamer version of Fallout DUST's vision of a "New Vegas bad end" XD

Lmao while catching up, I was thinking about commenting how much better and more respectful DUST was compared to the show.

At least DUST is a worst case scenario happening to the Mojave, based on the potential catastrophes from the DLC.
