You would show up after being silent for years just to be a dick hi witch
Would you prefer if I showed up just to be an ass instead?

The Hobbit > LOTR change my mind
You're correct. The Hobbit book is a better suited bedtime story for young children than LOTR.

So does this mean the mythical witch will make a post in here again????
Funny that my absence has made me "mythical".

At first I thought this was just be a filler for Patton, so it was nice to see that something changed. I'm also rather curious to what will happen to the rest of the armory. I think I would be fun if some of the riot gear started to appear among raiders and thugs after this.
Also, I suggest watching for spelling and such a bit more. While the few ones I found were pretty minor, but I do found it rather fun that Patton pulled out his "combat knight" to stab his quarry with. Everyone should have their own personal combat knight.

@Witchking of Angmar Looking back at the poll, I appreciate that you didn’t even include sequels to Dark Souls or Demon Souls. Ain’t nobody got time fo dat.
They said Dark Souls was done and I believe them. And Demons Souls is basically the predecessor of Dark Souls.

Flask and incant healing is actually a buff I’d be more in favor of. Even by the late game, with lots of sacred tears or high level spells, healing is pretty weak.
I rarely got a chance to notice. Even with 42 vigor.

STOP CATERING TO CASUALS
It makes leveling them up a bit easier and more rewarding. I don't see a problem with that. Leveling them up is optional. And with the damage of certain late game areas I feel health is justified. And if the flask heals the same as before it will just mean people will get a chance to drink it empty before dying, instead of dying to two quick hits.

I’m about to start a character who uses lots of archery and I can already bet this will be an issue for arrow crafting.
Luckily feathers and bones tend to be rather common drops. The beach west of the starting area has lots of birds that easily drops lots of feathers. Thin bones drop easily from most passive non-bird animals. Merchant Kale also sell regular arrows. I managed to keep myself well stocked by just stopping by him whenever I wanted to dump runes before heading into certain death over and over.
Still don't get the point of having a sub 100% drop rate on such basic items. All it does is make farming more annoying and time consuming.
-
I wish certain animals had 100% drop rate on certain components. It gets rather silly slaughtering dozens of sheep only to get 1 liver. I also can't shake the feeling it's some stupid holdover mechanic from old rpg:s.

@Witchking of Angmar The orderly part of my brain appreciates the thread title being short again.
Main reason why I started this thread.

I hereby declare a new thread.
Also, I really hate the "shotgun" spells. They can barely hit the broadside of a barn and do shit damage.

Stuff is happening during the day now. About 30 minutes ago it sounded like something was trying to open one of the bedroom doors and just now as I was leaving the hall bathroom, something went bouncing down the stairs to basement
At least we'll know what happened should you stop posting here.

First, it's Maliketh. You've been playing too much Warhammer 2.
Second, I feel any fast attack that makes the difference between having 10 and 42 vigor meaningless to be overtuned.

That's another area I completely disagree on. The final boss took me about an hour, while the Valkyrie took me five hours of learning hit and run tactics, shes' far harder in all those areas you listed.
I for the most part had more difficulty dodging the boss for Destined Death's attacks than I did Malenia (minus her AoE spam). Though he didn't do as much damage till the second phase, then he got a spin attack that just thrashed me in less than a second.
The second to last mandatory boss was fun and fair, at least in the first phase. Second phase was a little weird.
First phase of the last boss is certainly comparable in terms of stats. At least he does not have any bullshit AoE move. Though the fast teleporting gets close to being unfair. Second phase was actually easier.
I think my biggest issue could be alleviated if the soft cap on vigor was moved to 60. And that poise actually mattered.

Malenia is a completely optional bonus boss.
Though she's still comparable to some other late game bosses in terms of damage, health and attack speed.

Watched the Fallout show. My thoughts:
I really liked they way they handled the vaults. I felt they handled it better than games did in various ways. Though I give the games the leeway of the vaults being ill suited to shot and loot gameplay.
Jet arms on the power armor, really? I also think it too often detracts from the tank feeling of the armor.
Something about the Brotherhood just feels off. They nailed the aesthetic, but their actions and behavior feels off.
Cold fusion? Couldn't they just have copied the regular fusion plotline of the Institute from Fallout 4?
Where the fuck did Hank get his hands on a nuke to blow up Shady Sands just like that?
Loved all the little references and general tone of the show. Felt very Fallout.
Maximus clearly dumped Charisma. Maxed out Luck though as he keeps succeeding despite utterly failing every speech check.
Lucy was fun all around.
Final battle should have been Brotherhood really decimating the NCR remnants with how much power armor they brought. Or at least they should have given the NCR remnants some plasma weapons.
