Metroid is one of Nintedo smallest IP's; it apparently is the best rated game of the year and it's already sold like three million copies in a couple days, so good job for the Metroid fans (it's also the first 2d Metroid game in 15 years) and good for horror fans Nintedo apparently want to attract a "more mature" audience; it's very dark and creepy. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I kinda fell off after the WII train since Nintedo seemed to cater mostly towards children at that point; so it's good that there bringing some of there major projects a more mature focus. There's these things called MD Bots; they look like Xenomorph robots, and apparently are "Invincible" killer "Stalkers" that pursue Samus through certain parts (and are dynamic and interact with the Metroidvania sandbox) and cannot be killed, only avoided.
