Yeah this seems to be universal. They even use the same words “my pleasure” and the like. It’s definitley part of the training.

Easily my favorite fast food joint.

It's always nice when your writing gets reinforced by the canon after you come up with it.

The fact that they're boycotted tells you all you need to know about the left.

The owner's family has provided millions dollars into donations for groups that do Gay conversion therapy, that might as well be legally sanctioned torture. So fuck the owners. But I don't care if someone wants to eat there food and it isn't the employees fault.

Meanwhile people are mutilating their bodies because of gender dysphoria but we're supposed to celebrate and pay for that. Nope. No one is forced into therapy anymore (I know it used to happen) so people should do what they want.

That's bullshit. Gay teenagers are still forced to go into it by their parents all the time. It's starting to get banned in various States, but that dosen't change the fact it still happens, and it happens frequently.  But let's not get into this.

Parents force their kids to do fucked up things all the time. See above, like young kids taking hormones that will probably cripple them. Or men using women's bathrooms and locker rooms, like they tried to force here in North Carolina.

Just saying, so-called progressive society sanctions some pretty fucked up things, so they have no authority to criticize someone's delicious, delicious chicken.

Bruh they donate to a LOT of people, and those  groups also do a lot of shit besides gay therapy.

The good outweighs the bad and it’s a lot more than other companies are doing which is jack. McDonalds sure as hell doesn’t feed homeless people.

So your saying the fact they do "other things" makes it all right they also have camps were gay people are administired shock therapy and other horrifying shit to "cure" them of being born homosexual? WTF dude?

And Rotten Ronnie's does do alot of charity work. Just nothing associated with torture.

And another thing, for all the bad gay therapy does and the controversy surrounding the Christian athletes group with lgbt, these lgbt groups do faaaar more harm to their youth so personally, I don’t give a damn who they donate to.

I’m saying that I’m not gonna stop eating chick fil a because one of the people they donate to does something equally as fucked up as what the pro lgbt people do on a much larger scale.

Im not even talking about charity, which technically every establishment does for tax breaks.

Im talking having leftover food and giving it to local homeless and other things on an individual store basis, like housing people during hurricanes, feeding people trapped by winter storms, etc.

No one has more stories like this than chick fil a, damn sure not McDonalds, the nastiest greediest place to work ever with minimum wage workers.

I mean I worked at MacDonald's for a year it wasn't horrible (but it was a miracle I never got any acme.)

I'm not boycotting either I'm just saying I think it's fucked up for someone to be all happy go lucky and doing good work one second, and giving money to people who put innocent teens in camps just because they were born gay and subject them to horrible shit. Not talking about anyone here, saying that in coprate culture. It's the religious disconnect that I've always struggled with in my personal faith.

Yeah, I’m gonna need some evidence before I’m going to believe that one of the owners of CFA donates to a camp where they electrocute gay kids. That sounds highly exaggerated to put it mildly.

For the record, Fellowship of Christian athletes doesn’t actually do conversion therapy, the critics say they “promote” conversion therapy, amongst other things like preach about what the Bible says on homosexuality.

I don’t agree with it but they are not forcing anyone to do anything. The fault lies solely with the parents

Viking’d sort of. But yea, they don’t actually electrocute kids lol, in fact I’m fairly certain no one does. Electrocution therapy is an outdated and outlawed practice.

Correction, it’s illegal to anyone below 16.

Still, point stands that Fellowship of Christian athletes don’t do this, and since it’s illegsl for anyone under 16, that means teenagers 17 and up cannot be forced into it.

Parents still have immense influence over there children at that age. But if shocking therepy isn't used by that certain group, I'll concede I was wrong in that regard. I still think that kind of stuff is morally wrong though.

And I agree.

But there’s not a single company or group, organization out there that does everything perfectly or that you’ll like 100 percent. Hell, I don’t even agree that putting bible verses into training manuals is really a good idea tbh. In fact I find it kinda creepy, or at least I would if it wasn’t a company that actually holds to the values it teaches and converts that way rather than forcing it on people.

I mean it when I say the good outweighs the little bad that there is, and what little there is, is veeeery very indirect. Kids nowadays in the era of cellphones and free pornography could use a positive influence.

That is far more important to me than the company encouraging, supposedly anyway, something that the parents were likely going to seek out on their own anyway.

So one of the owners of Chick Fil-A has in the past donated to FCA, a group primarily dedicated to sports, who have in the past donated to a group that doesn’t electrocute gay kids, but does try to convert them.

Yeah, that’s much more like what I was expecting when I said it sounded highly exaggerated.
