I'm so excited for a wintery setting though, and really, that their making a sequel in the first place, the first game was so good. There's so much to draw from, including my favorite Great Old One, The White Wendigo, Ithaqua 

And these fuckers 

At the Mountains of Madness is widely considered Lovecraft's greatest (and longest) work, so i'm very hyped they decided to go with it for inspiration. You can also see six heroes in the trailer (all returning ones) All of DD's had four, so I think this is a hint their increasing the cap from 4 to 6. And they talked also about heavily changing the meta game, and making things alot less grindy, which was my biggest problem with the first game.

So I finally tested out the Civil War Aftermath mod...

Even the tent with the wounded soldiers... yeeessss burnnnn milkdrinkers BUUURRNNN 

Anyway, these civil war mods are lit. I'll walk across a random fort and Imperials are trying to take it and I can fuck up their assault or vice versa, and they actually man the keep depending on who wins, and you'll get ambushed on occasion. Fuckers burned my tent once while I was about to sleep. Mods too realistic lol.

The open civil war is a bit weird and works like half the time properly lol but I can’t go back after using it. Being able to just roll up on a city and take it vs doing those fort missions or espionage like Markarth and having like, no fighting involved was lame.

I realize now that there's so much of the civil war stuff in my game I randomly encounter because two of my mods make them wander around the game, and I think the open civil war one borrows off of those npcs as well. I swear, its a good 30 percent chance I'll be ambushed by imperials or accidentally wander into a war party of like, 40 lol. Today that happened and I barely killed my way through all of them before the cavalry of stormcloaks finally arrived too late for the action. And there were tons of them, even different ranks and armor too. Was lit.

I did get to see one of these big war parties clash, most satisfying thing ever. Giants were MVP.

Finally got my second storm call word so that means it’s time to take Markarth finally. No idea what it’ll be like but if it’s real good I’ll show it.

Whiterun had a small edit where they were throwing trebuchet fire our way as well so they might do something cool with storming those walls.

So I’m a platoon armorer now, which means I handle all the armsroom stuff for the platoon, right? Lol. Well when it comes to that stuff, no ones rank matters that is below the platoon sergeant or Lieutenant and the only thing above those is the 1st Sergeant and Captain. So these two team leaders who have the biggest superiority complexes I’ve ever seen need to tie down their attachments to their weapons, and I’ve told them and told them and even gave them the cord to do it with today and they still didn’t do it, so basically the next time they draw weapons, I’m not going to turn their weapons in until the shit is tied down and tied down properly. Knowing them, this is going to be fun lmao
