Having beat Kingdom Come a second time a week or so ago, I jumped back in the game on a new character. This time I'm playing on hardcore and as a VERY different Henry. Last playthrough I tried to have Henry attempt at being a good person, the middle ages were brutal and so was he. But when he could afford it, he was merciful, never murdered what he saw as innocent and generally didn't steal unless circumstances were dire. He was very noble in the end. This time around I'm playing Henry like a complete fucking monster. In the prologue I roleplayed as a murderer, killing a few of the unnamed villagers secretly (mechanically it was all in the same day, but I'm RPing it as him murdering a few over time). He's completely two faced, acting an innocent lad when in reality he's a psychopath. After the prologue, I've waited until a rainy night to spring Henry's murderous compulsion, sneaking into some homes, kidnapping and murdering. He's hit about three houses, and left only one person alive. More as a game than any sense of morality. It's so fucked up, major props to the game for actually allowing an evil Henry play style

Guess who lost an hour of progress in kingdom come because of how buggy this game is? Meeee, god this is the most anti-player game I've ever played. I can't believe I defended it years ago. If the devs weren't the biggest losers in the industry, they'd add an option for consoles to save without the expensive drink. That's why, much to their displeasure, such a mod is the most popular mod for PC. My salt is infinite, fix your gaaaaame. Edit: I've gotten so fed up that I've broken rp character and looked up how to make them through alchemy. Now that I can make them very cheaply and plentifully, I have no more room to complain.

Nope, this game is getting uninstalled and I'm never supporting that company again. I'll fucking pirate their next game if it's ever made. Just lost an hour of progress due to their ignorant save system. The devs refuse to give auto saves except at the start of main quests, not even at the end of ones. And I got ambushed in the woods randomly again, my horse auto freaked out and knocked me off and was cheesed by two heavily armored bandits. The game constantly bugged out and spun me around for free hits despite both of them being in front of me. The devs abandoned this game before fixing the bugs and bad combat.

What time should we tune in to their stream?

I'm so fucking salty, Id just laugh it off as a dumb unfair encounter if it wasn't for this games horrible save system. It's designed to make the player lose progress.

They did it in the forest as I was riding to a town, it was the most random unfair thing I've ever seen in kingdom come. Devs really made an anti-player game and then cry about players wanting better save system It took the entire community giving them shit for them to just add the ability to save and quit.

I just lost thirty five minutes of progress because TEN PEASANTS ambushed my horse, cheated me because I have perks that make it near impossible to knock me off a horse but they did it anyways, and was knocked around able to do literally nothing because this game has the worst lock on system ever made. Playtest your games.

Of course now just to spite me, I've just had two really fun 1v2 fights back to back. I forced them to attack me on a small bridge over a creek and they weren't able to flank me. Nor overpower my guy in a clinch as he was physically stronger. I fatally wounded the weaker one just as they pushed me back over the bridge and wore down the stronger guy until fatally stabbing him too. I fucking love the stab focused longswords

It's intentional if you try to run away, you get punished for it. But the issue is the worst lock on system I've played with makes fighting multiple people unfun. Because they're constantly glitching through you and running behind you and you either cannot lock on or it bugs out and starts freaking your camera out if you try snapping to said running person. tl;dr Bad lock-on system causes very clunky combat

I got back into Kingdom Come since 2021. This game is almost good, just so very close to being good. But in the end the devs just never ironed out the extreme clunkiness of combat. Master Strikes ruins the pacing and literally forces the player to never swing, because mid-game onward you will be Master Striked 90% of the time from your first attack. PC solves this by modding Master Strikes out for both players and enemies, but since I'm stuck on console I just have to deal with this lackluster boring system. And my god it's agony fighting more than one person because the lock on is a thousand times worse than the worst of Dark Souls. Enemies are constantly running behind you or glitching through you and they automatically get to stagger and spin you around for huge damage. I hope that Warhorse gets their shit together and listens to 99% of the community and fixes these two issues that ruins combat in the next game.
