  1. Not available on Xbox and doesn’t really look like something I’d be into. But I reckon buying the OG Tomb Raider trilogy sent a similar message. Its very existence triggered the current IP holders.
  2. Two-handers in general. I’ve seen lots of people equipping their pawns with hammers.
  3. @BigBossBalrog DD2 vocations I tried Trickster but it is a weird vocation. 0% offense (literally no attacks) and 100% support for your pawns. As solid as their AI is compared to companions in most games, I don’t think it’s good enough to justify an entire class being completely reliant on it. I’m still leveling Thief, but am eager to move on from it. It’s too good and basically trivializes the game. Feels like the most OP class by far. Next will be Warrior, basically the @ColonelKillaBee class in any given Fromsoft game. From the footage I’ve seen, it looks like it requires more skill to play, and won’t just auto win everything for me like Thief does, so I’m eager to give it a go. Hopefully by the time it’s leveled, I’ll have found wherever Magic Archer is hiding.
  4. But I agree, the Ghoul is badass. He’s my favorite character by a pretty significant margin.
  5. Oh, from like a year ago! I was like "when the hell did I post a video about FEV?!"
  6. I knew better before I even clicked the page. Probably should’ve left it up longer just so you could get more people with it, but I was tired and didn’t think much about what I was doing. For me, the enjoyability of the show is directly proportional to the amount of yodeling that happens when The Ghoul is on-screen. Sadly, I think it dies down around episode 3 or so.
  7. It got a disappointed laugh outa me. It was just the last thing I saw before going to sleep and I was too tired to post.
  8. The Pitt would be perfect as the East Coast’s dark and twisted foil to Shady Sands. An independent town that grows into an industrial nation, but on the back of raiding and slavery instead of cooperation and agriculture.
  9. Nearly everything in 4 is the low point. Tone, art design, writing quality (until the show). The one thing it’s got going for it is Maxson and the BoS, and amusingly most modern fans hate the BoS in Fallout 4.
  10. I crap on Bethesda Fallout a lot, but I wont fault them for their monster design. They invented lots of cool mutants.
  11. Absolutely. The wasteland felt much more hostile and strange. It didn’t help that Fallout 4 immediately tossed us into a scripted encounter where we get handed free power armor and a minigun and mow down a deathclaw like a badass. Killed all sense of danger or vulnerability out the gate.
  12. Laughing at that yodeling is still the most fun I’ve had with a show in years.
  13. That’s basically every next time bullets fly in this show. But the turret is the funniest example for sure.
  14. Fallout was inevitable. Netflix Witcher has been wrapped in drama since season 2 at least.
  15. Hilarious that she’s accusing him of ruining Geralt when almost universal consensus is that he as Geralt carried the show and everything else ranged from bad to mediocre. Sorry lady, but nobody watching gives a crap if some dramatic Hollywood twats had fun on the set or not. We don’t watch these shows for your behind-the-scenes circlejerk sessions. Also, announcing that it’s been renewed to go 5 seasons like it’s some sort of victory is a bit of a cope when the original plan was always to do 7. It didn’t get extended; it got cut short.
  16. That’s been going on since Bethesda bought the IP and has gotten worse with every game except FO76 where everyone sort of came together to hate it. It’s why NMA became a thing and has lasted to this day. But yeah, right now is the worst it’s ever been. If you don’t eat up and praise Beth’s modern interpretation of the franchise, then you’re a prick.
  17. Yeah, I don’t believe it. "Death threats" and "Racist/Sexist DMs" have become every media corporation’s shield from criticism in the 2020s. It’s a way to paint critical fans as "toxic" evil bastards.
  18. It’s been fifty years. Ol' Jackie Boy’s memory ain’t what it used to be.
  19. It’s sort of like a blend of horror and detective/mystery. Lighter on the horror than the mystery, but it does a really good job of both.
  20. Watched A Haunting in Venice last night. It was a really good mystery/detective movie. Had great characters, a tight script, a compelling mystery, and even a little horror. Sets in Italy were beautiful too. Most impressive part was how well it kept you guessing at whether or not there was anything supernatural going on without ever feeling like it was cheating or lying to the audience. I’d recommend it to anyone here. Especially @BigBossBalrog and @Celan. Seems like your kind of thing.
  21. Gaming fandoms are the most oppressive force of the 21st century.
